道德經英譯本點評(四到六章)

今早想到一個學日語的方法,先記錄在此。
一APP:尋五十音圖APP,以99度+1原則深入背熟,此為自學基礎。
一首歌:如穀村新司的歌,唱熟了再學下一首,此練發音;
一部劇:可以按豆瓣評分依次刷日劇,以1.5倍-2倍語速播放,此練聽力;
一本書:本擬采用金剛經之日譯本開始讀起,想起可能有古日語與現代日語之不同,或可換成星新一的微型小說,此練閱讀;
一軟件:用anki之類的軟件記錄單詞,此為量化進度。
日語於我是零基礎,曾經略背過五十音圖,但沒有深入背熟,所以等於完全不會。目前這個方法隻是根據學習的原則提出的,估計會隨著學習的展開而調整。
暫時還不能開始,因可汗學院的金融與資本市場還有幾十個視頻沒有看完,看完後就可以開始日語自學之旅了。

第四章
道衝而用之或不盈。
The Way is like an empty vessel
That yet may be drawn from
Without ever needing to be filled.
用vessel船來形象說明道之用或不盈,挺好。
淵兮,似萬物之宗。
It is bottomless; the very progenitor of all things in the world.
bottomless無底之淵。progenitor 祖
挫其銳,解其紛,和其光,同其塵。
In it all sharpness is blunted,
All tangles untied,
All glare tempered,
All dust soothed.
sharpness銳 blunt鈍之 tangle糾纏 untie解開 glare光 temper緩和 dust塵 soothe 靖
湛兮,似或存。吾不知誰之子,象帝之先。
It is like a deep pool that never dries.
Was it too the child of something else? We cannot tell.
But as a substanceless image it existed before the Ancestor.
湛兮以a deep pool that never dries深潭不竭譯之。 另此處提出了substanceless image非物質化形象。
第五章
天地不仁,以萬物為芻狗;聖人不仁,以百姓為芻狗。
Heaven and Earth are ruthless;
To them the Ten Thousand things are but as straw dogs.
The Sage too is ruthless;
To him the people are but as straw dogs.
ruthless無情,此處用rational理性可能更好, straw dogs草狗,乃直譯,不知西方有此物否?
天地之間,其猶橐籥乎!虛而不屈,動而愈出。
Yet Heaven and Earth and all that lies between
Is like a bellows
In that it is empty, but gives a supply that never fails.
Work it, and more comes out.

多言數窮,不如守中。
Whereas the force of words is soon spent.
Far better is it to keep what is in the heart.

第六章
穀神不死,是謂玄牝。
The Valley Spirit never dies.
It is named the Mysterious Female.
此乃直譯
玄牝之門,是謂天地根。
And the doorway of the Mysterious Female
Is the base from which Heaven and Earth sprang.
威利用了第一章無名天地之始同樣的單詞sprang
綿綿若存,用之不勤。
It is there within us all the while;
Draw upon it as you will, it never runs dry.
譯的挺好,all the while綿綿。Draw upon it as you will默照it never runs dry川流不息
